We are located in Rising Sun which is 2
hours west of Madison and near Viroqua.
Our plan is to raise and sell quality
breeding stock and quality fleeces. We raise both registered and
unregistered ewes and rams. We have a closed flock and keep strict
records on our breeding practices.
This is our 6th year in the
government’s Voluntary Scrapie Program which means that the State
Veterinarian comes out to visit us once a year and inspects our
flock and checks our records.
We welcome any questions or visits to
our farm. We want to insure that when we sell any of our sheep that
they go to a home that loves this breed as much as we do.

If you are new to sheep, here are
some of the supplies/equipment you will need:
--woven wire fencing (or welded)
--good hay source (40 lb bale for 10 ewes when there is no pasture
available)
