REGISTERED ICELANDIC SHEEP
FIBER AND BREEDING STOCK

Welcome to Ridge Top Icelandics...

Winter 2011 - 2012

It is starting to get cold out! This is the first year we did not have our sheep sheared in the Fall, so come Spring there will be some long, long fleeces.

We have not decided if we should breed the ewes this year, but if you would be interested in any of the girls on the "Breeding Stock" page, we may be able to sell a few as not exposed or as exposed. We added a new 2011 badgerface ram lamb this year so as to diversify the flock.

We belong to the Icelandic Sheep Breeders of America (their website is: www.isbona.com) , and we are also a member of the Wisconsin Sheep Breeders Association.

Our sheep are registered through the Canadian Livestock Records Corporation (CLRC).

Our farm is located in Rising Sun, Wisconsin (100 miles west of Madison and 50 miles south of LaCrosse.

Our plan is to raise and sell quality breeding stock and quality fleeces. We keep strict records on our breeding practices.

We welcome any questions or visits to our farm. We want to insure that whoever we sell any of our sheep to will love them and care for them as much as we do.
